Do you know Bog Myrtle? This plant is abundant in Scottish bogs, but prefers to grow on lakeside here. It repulses biting insects of all sorts, including ticks that carry Lyme disease. It is one of the main ingredients in my insect repellent. I’m selling a lot of it with the wet spring that we had this year. A new batch is in fabrication and should be ready for Saturday, when I will give a talk on Birch tree.
